Memory Eternal to Valentina Sergeevna Sovitcheff

On March 24nd, 2010, in her 79th year after a prolonged battle with cancer, one of the most remarkable members of our Sisterhood, Valentina Sergeevna Sovitcheff, departed to the Lord.

Valentina was born on January 30, 1932 in Alexandria, Egypt. Later her family moved to Cairo. In 1962 Valentina followed her sister, Maria to Canada and became a member of Christ The Saviour Cathedral parish and our Sisterhood. Valentina Sergeevna will always be remembered for her truly Christian kindness, openness and love to the people around her. Memory eternal to her. +
