Christ the Saviour Russian Orthodox Cathedral

   On Saturday, April 10, 2010 our Church School named after Great Duchess Olga celebrated Easter by giving a performance based on a Russian fairy tale "Kolobok" (ball-cake). Children's performance, their costumes and production was quite remarkable, including unusual sound production of the show. Even the rector of the Cathedral, Fr.Oleg had a small but important role to play - he gave a blessed Easter egg to the main character of Kolobok. The director of the show, who is also a drama teacher Ekaterina Sergeevna, shot the whole performance on video, which we should have on our web site soon.

On the same day the School director Elena Cioppa and Parish priest Fr.Roman celebrated their birthdays, on which they were congratulated by the Sisterhood.
