Christ the Saviour Russian Orthodox Cathedral

  On Sunday, May 23rd, Christ The Saviour Russian Orthodox Cathedral celebrated with the rest of the Orthodox world the Pentecost, or the Feast of the Holy Spirit. As the rector of the Cathedral, Father Oleg Kirillow has noted, this bright feast is really a birthday of the Holy Orthodox Church. Our Church indeed was founded not by some individuals, but by the Holy Spirit, which came upon the Apostles on the fiftieth day after Easter!

  Also, on May 23rd, Alexandra Andreevna Sudmalis celebrated her 99th Birthday! We wish her good health and many, many years of life!
